LUSU operates under strict financial regulations which are approved by the Trustee Board. They apply to all financial transactions undertaken by any officer or member of staff of the Union, any officer involved in a union affiliated club, society, sub-committee etc, including JCRs/the PG Board, LUSU Gives and the LU Cinema. These regulations also apply to any subsidiary company set up by LUSU.
It is the responsibility of all officers, post-holders and staff to ensure they are sufficiently competent to perform their duties and to comply with the financial regulations and procedures. Appropriate training relating to the financial regulations will be given to all new officers and staff.
Please note that financial misconduct will be treated under University disciplinary procedures.
